God revealed onto man
Revelation in Scripture is defined as the supernatural revealing of a person's own existence based upon his own experience and the intercession of the Lord. Dei Verbum states that God's presence is always revealed to us and he wants us to know his love, but it is up to us to accept his love and allow it to reveal itself to us. It is through the Holy Spirit that we come to know God. When we are able to know God, we are then able to know our own purpose on this earth.
Revelation in its completion
Revelation is made complete in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus is both true man and true God, having both a human nature and a divine nature. Through our salvation from Jesus' death on the cross we were able to get closer to the Lord. All things are made complete with Christ, and Christ is in fact the Word made flesh.
